Angels Rich Thompson at the Orange County Zoo

This Saturday, August 20th 2011, Angels Pitcher Rich Thompson will visit the OC Zoo as part of a program to provide families and kids with new activities during the Angels 2011 baseball season.

If you’re one of the first 125 people to arrive at the OC Zoo, your kids can participate in storytime with Thompson from 11 to 11:30 am. Then from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Thompson will take photos with the children. But for those wanting autographs, sorry seems that is not part of the schedule.

Plus, get free zoo admission for every visitor who wears Angels gear on August 20, 2011 at the OC Zoo.

Then on the following day August 21 at the Angels game, the OC Parks will have giveaways at the front entrance of the Stadium. Look for the large tent at the entrance of the Angels stadium. The first 15,000 children ages 2 to 18 attending the game will receive a limited edition Vernon Wells messenger bag.
